With Polling Day closing in fast we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to man Polling Booths on Saturday 29 July. To be a part of this momentus day we would like to book volunteers in for 2 hour shifts at 8am, 10am, 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm. If you are able to lend a hand, please call Meagan or Belinda on 4688 6913. |

The information stand at Grand Central Thursday and Saturday attracted plenty of positive responses. The volunteers were kept very busy with a large number of undecided with a great many questions. We also gave out more than 300 NEWater taste samples. Senator Andrew Bartlett, who spent two hours at the centre on a visit from Brisbane, spoke to locals and media about his belief that water recycling should be part of the water solution for all of South East Queensland. |

At Lake Annand on Sunday June 4 Singapore’s NEWater was brought out for another test run against Toowoomba tap water and bottled spring water. The water taste testing attracted more than 150 samplers.
"Vote Yes!" badges were also given out, along with blue Water Futures balloons and stress water drops. The arrival of promotion material brought a smile to many a child’s face and saw our Water Futures logo being displayed right around the lake. |

Singapore’s NEWater was brought out for test run against Toowoomba tap water and bottled spring water. The water taste testing was a big hit with more than 100 people wandering up to sample the water. 17 of the taste testers managed tell the difference. Upcoming events will also give people a chance to taste the 100% recycled water. The next one is this Sunday, June 4 at Lake Annand for World Environment Day. We hope to see you there! |
